This is a canvas I had been itching to do, I had a vision in my head of how I wanted it to look and I am pretty pleased with the result.

Ok I finally took a couple of photos of our house, so thought I would share them :) One is of the house, the other of the beach at the bottom of the road .
Also I got a new painting done, she is called "Friend" and is done on wood.

New Painting

Thought I would share with you a painting I did a few weeks ago, when I was fed up of all the delays in moving house, so I unpacked my paints and had a lovely art day. It is on wood and was too big to fit on my scanner, so this is a photo of it.

Well I am in my new house!! and I have to say I love it! Moving was very stressful and tiring, but well worth it :0
The Lady who has some of my artwork in her shop asked me to run the shop for her yesterday, and I really enjoyed it, I was able to take my sketch pad, which was great.

My Son had cooking today and he made the most delicious cheesecake, and the decoration was amazing! I don't think it will last long!

House moves and a blog feature

Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, I had no idea how moving house could take over your life! We had a set back yesterday and we are now moving next week (20th May). So much of my time has been sorting through endless cupboards, but also its so stressful and completely distracts me from my art :(. So I am so looking forward to getting in now and finally settling back to my art, I miss it so.

I had some great news yesterday, a lovely lady called Krishenka has made me the feature Artist of the month on her blog! It cheered me up now end :0

Easter Greetings

Sending Easter Blessings to you all!
Me I am having a good Easter, went to church this morning, had a lovely big Easter Sunday dinner, with all the boys here as Nathan arrived home from Uni yesterday. I can hear all the boys talking and laughing together, which makes my heart smile :) It s amazing how quite the house is without one of them here, I dread the day when they are all gone.

Here is my new art block, which I added to my etsy store .
I made 8 art blocks the other day,as the local shop has sold most of my items and I needed to make some more- wow I am so thrilled!

I have so much going on at the moment, most of all we have sold our house, and fingers crossed we think we have found one we like. So my head has been swimming with houses and thoughts of moving! We are only moving locally, but its still a big upheaval.
I am looking forward to having a good clearout, which is what a move forces you to do...lol
