London was fab!

what a fab christmas pressie from Hubby :0 we had a wonderful few days in London. We went to the V&A, The Natural history Museum, Harrods, Covent Gardens , westminster and of course the Lyceum Theatre to see the Lion King. There is only one word to describe the show AMAZING! the costumes were unbelieveable. we had the best seats in the stalls, and alot of the animals went right by us.The hotel was lovely and just around the corner from the V&A and across the road from the tube station.
We were lucky to get there, they cancelled all flights after ours left for Gatwick. then Gatwick was shut for 2 days and our flight was one of the few to leave on thursday night, the first back to the Island for 2 days, we were so lucky!

Really, really jealous but glad you had a fun time :)

My son flew back to Manchester on Wednesday just squeaking thru the storms with a brief delay at Heathrow :)

Happy New Year, you lucky girl :) Regards, T.
