Yep I did the carboot sale that I signed up for a while ago, I was very nervous on the day as there were no other stalls like mine it was all second hand stuff, BUT I sold canvases, prints and cards, I am soo happy!!
As you can see it was a sunny day, and I was so pleased with peoples responses, quite a few took my card, so if you are one of those who did, Thanks for dropping by my blog!!

I love car boot sales, in fact, went to one this morning (and saw the lady who presents 'Car booty' on tv walking around with her son, she must live around here somewhere) but never sold on one. I've seen people sell their art, but it's usually some old stuff they just want to get rid of, you can tell it's not something they are very proud of.
Your stall looks lovely and organised, nice and bright, and I'm not surprised you did well. You're giving me something to think about here. ;)
Good for you, everything looks wonderful:0) Just the type of spot I'm always looking for when out shopping.

Hey Purplecat, finally made my way her from Suzi's page. That is really great that you sold some of your work. I can't even imagine what a boost that must be to know someone saw something special in your art. I think I'll add you on my blog so I remember to keep tabs on your site. Very inspirational!
