OLYMPIC TORCH

It was very exciting as the Olympic torch came to the Isle of Man. We went to Laxey to see it arrive on the Electric Railway on the front of a tram!!

Rag Rugging

A couple of weeks ago I went to a rag rug work shop, oh my it was brilliant, I think I may have a new obsession!! We all made a rag rug heart. I was really pleased with how mine came out :0 The previous weekend I did a nuno felting workshop, which was hard work, but I loved the effect, mine is the white one in this picture.

Heart & Soul

Sorry for the lack of posts! to make up for it, here is my new painting. It is called Heart & Soul and although its on wood its not wood burned, its lots of layers of old sheet music and book pages, painting and smudgy charcoal :)
