A new painting I have just done,Its on heavy mixed media paper, with loads of layers. The colours evolved as I went along.

Meet Gerri

This is Gerri, our beautiful new cat.

We got her from the MSPCA (cat rescue). She is a ginger tabby, and they guess 3 or 4 years old.She is making herself quite at home, and is a real lap cat! She has been following me around every where, and its hard to be on the computer as she wants to type too!

She was given her name by the vet who looked after her when she was brought in as a stray, he has a thing about the spice girls...lol. We think the name kind of suits her so we are keeping it. Although I may call her Princess Gerri !

Two Angels both very different!!

These are my new Angels that I finished today. One is on wood, and is mixed media, with woodburning, collage and stamps. The other is acrylics on canvas, with tissue paper on the wings. Both Angels but very different.

I will be adding them to my etsy shop soon!!

Purplecats chunky house pages...

So I am in a swap on http://www.atcsforall.com/ its for chunky book pages ( these are 6 x 4, with a roof shaped top, and are "chunky"). I finally got my first 2 done, I love how they have turned out. We can do 4-10 pages, obviously the more you do the more you get back! So I am aiming to as many as I can. I was in the first chunky house swap and the returns I received were amazing!
