We have some fabulous sunsets here on the Isle Of Man, here are 2 photos of an amazing sunset last week, I have never seen such red clouds!!

Angels watching over us.....

I finally managed to turn my quick sketch into a painting. I have done it on water colour board, using water colours.I wanted to use muted colours and used a little gesso to soften it.

Another house and a quick sketch

I managed to get another chunky house page done, called mothers love, and I had an idea for a painting and did a quick sketch as I have my Parents visiting and haven't had much time for art.Hopefully I can turn the sketch into something soon, not sure wether to do watercolour or mixed media?

Houses for chunky book swap

I have joined a swap on atcsforall.com, which is for house shapped chunky book pages. The houses are 4x6 and can be any theme, but particularly, chidhood memories or home.

I have had such fun today and have made 3 houses so far- but you should see the mess in my kitchen!!

The first house has the title" nest", then "be yourself", then "family is a blessing".

Joy and Hope.

I finished two more canvases that I have been working on, one is called hope and the other Joy.

I guess if we have hope and Joy in ours lives we are blessed indeed!

I am going to add some flower beads to Hope, but I scanned her first as I thought the beads would interfere with the scan.

Brand new Angel.

I made this Angel today, and worked on a few other pieces.

I have set my self a target now to get a few canvases done , as I have booked a pitch at a big carboot sale,I thought I would have a go and see if I can sell any! I have 4 weeks to be ready.
