Fairy-tale canvas

My new canvas is a fairy-tale princess, I loved using the subtle creamy colours and the crackle glazed background.

Gosh I have been busy today!

I managed to get three canvases finished today, so I am really pleased!

Two are Manx Fairies, as I live on the Isle Of Man, I wanted to do somethingManx and of course Fairies are a big part of the folklore here.

I have done a forest Fairie and one holding a manx cat ( yes the famous Manx cat with no tail!)

The other Angel canvas is on a crackle glazed background and I really love the effect!

Work in progress!

Work in progess- this is what I have got done this afternoon.All painted, cut out ready to stick- just got to do the canvas backgrounds!

This is a mixed media larger canvas I did, in acrylics with added elements, the title is "Home is where the heart is".

Hi everyone, I know I haven't been active for a while, I had a few teething problems, but hopefully I will be able to blog more now, and share my art!

Hope you like the Angel Canvases I have been doing, here are a couple more;

Angel Canvases

I have been painting Angel Canvases lately and I was so encouraged when some people wanted buy some and for me to do comissions for them.

I tend to do the Angels in watercolour, then paste onto a mixed media background.
